Rider & Team RegistrationSign Up for the 9th Annual MICF Spin-a-thon
How It Works: Rider & Team Registration
Spin-a-thon is a 4-hour crowdfunding event where 50 teams on 50 spin bikes will ride and keep their bikes going non-stop from 3pm-7pm on Friday, April 27th. This high energy and fun-filled afternoon raises money for MICF initiatives and programs that support the children and families in our community. Our invited charities participate in the Spin-a-thon and also raise money for their organizations. Up to 90 percent of the money raised by the partner charity goes back to support their cause, and MICF retains a nominal portion for event production costs.
To ride in the Spin-a-thon you will need to pay the registration fee and join a Team. The cost is $35 before the March 31st Early Bird deadline and $50 after that deadline. The registration fee is counted as a donation towards your Team Goal. Don’t worry if you don’t have a Team, we’ll help you find one. Once you’re registered, remember its crowdfunding event so reach out to your network and help us reach our fundraising goal.

How Teams & Riders Raise Money
The optimal number of riders on a team is eight (8), but a Team can have as many members as it wants to help keep its bike moving during the 4-hour event and reach the team fundraising pledge goal. You can also have fundraisers on your team who want to join the crowdfunding efforts to help raise money. There is no cost to register as a Fundraiser. Once you’re registered, you’ll get a personal fundraising page where you can send Emails, post on Facebook, send tweets on Twitter or send a Text Messages to you network to ask for a support donation. You know your network, so set a personal goal and ask as many people as you can. You’ll be spreading the message of MICF in the community and helping some worthwhile charities.
